Healthy Diet Tips for Summer Season

Summer season mostly reminds of sweat and dehydration but with little efforts and by following some simple diet tips, you can avoid these. You can enjoy summer to its fullest by taking some healthy, fresh and seasonal summer diets to stay hydrated. Are you looking for such diet tips? Here I am going to provide you with some healthy diet tips for summer which will help you a lot in enjoying summer in a healthy way:

  • Drink plenty of water because with high temperatures, body looses water and sodium in the form of sweat. Whether you are at job, in kitchen or in a car, always keep a bottle of fresh water with you so that you can drink it when you feel dehydrated.
  • Summer is a perfect time to take fresh fruits and vegetables so that you can keep your diet on track. Eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables as they not only provide you with essential nutrients but also help in loosing weight. Actually fresh fruits and vegetables have high amount of fiber in them which makes you feel fuller for longer period of time. Fruits and vegetables are also beneficial because they control blood sugar and prevent body from absorbing fat.
  • Try to include those fruits and vegetables in your diet which have a large amount of water like melons, water melons, oranges, onions and cucumber. Besides hydrating your body, these fruits and vegetables will also help in reducing your body temperature.
  • I will strongly recommend you not to take junk and fast food during summer time. These fried foods make you feel lethargic and have a heated thermal effect on your body.
  • Avoid taking carbonated, alcoholic and caffeinated drinks in summer. The reason is quite clear. Actually, these drinks and beverages contain preservatives which cause a lot of water loss through urination.
  • It is a common practice to drink chilled drinks during summer season but it should be avoided because chilled liquids tighten blood vessels and as a result these constricted and tightened blood vessels reduce body heat loss and have harmful effects on your body.
  • Winter fruits and vegetables like spinach, beetroot, grapefruit, garlic and pineapple should not be taken because these fruits and vegetables produce heat in your body.
  • Say goodbye to spicy, salty and hot foods. Don’t go for hot dogs and burgers. Instead of these, try to eat grilled chicken and vegetables.
  • Drink fresh fruit juice to restore nutrients which you loose in form of sweat.
  • Most of the people like to have salads but don’t watch whether they are healthy or not. I mean that people often start taking all kinds of salads including those having lots of cream and mayonnaise. Such salads are not good in summer time so you should take healthy pasta salads containing olive oil and fresh vegetables.

That was all about healthy diet tips for summer. Follow these to stay fit and healthy during summer.

Tips for Healthy Glowing Skin

Every woman dreams of a healthy and glowing skin. Most of the women try to make it possible with the help of make up and cosmetics. But these things give a temporary glow and don’t give long lasting beauty. For this reason, I started searching for tips for healthy glowing skin. As a result of my search, I found a number of useful tips which I am going to share with you.

Keep Your Skin Clean

A clean skin always remains well and glowing so clean your face with a cleanser twice a day. Make sure that the cleanser is suitable for your skin type. If you are living in somewhat unhygienic area then you will need to clean your face three times a day. This is necessary because air around us contains a large amount of dust particles which can easily spoil our complexion and make our skin looking dull. Don’t try to make your skin glowing with heavy make up. Instead of it, use cleansing agents to keep your skin clean. Use skin wipes to keep your skin clean and take them with you wherever you go.

Moisturize Your Skin

Moisturizing the skin is also an important tip to have a healthy glowing skin. While choosing a moisturizer, try to buy one having vitamin A, E or C. Again I will remind you to purchase a moisturizer that suits your skin.

Get Regular Facials

To keep your skin glowing, you are also recommended to get facials. You should get a facial at least once in a month so that your skin may get a deep cleaning. Our pores become blocked even if we clean our skin on regular basis so to cleanse them we should get a facial either at home or in salon.

Exfoliate Your Skin

Dead skin cells on our face combine with dirt particles and consequently our skin start looking dull. To avoid this, remove this dead skin and uncover fresh skin underneath by exfoliating skin. Exfoliate your skin at least once a day and use a gentle exfoliant if you possess a sensitive skin.

Sauna

The heat and steam provided by a sauna helps to eliminate waste and toxins in the form of sweat and consequently, makes skin fresh and healthy. After getting a sauna, you can immediately see the results as your skin will become clearer.

Take Healthy Diet

Take healthy and well-balanced diet having antioxidants. Moreover add fresh fruits, vegetables and juices in your diet to make your skin looking healthy and shiny.

Drink Lot of Water

To have healthy, glowing and beautiful skin, drink a lot of water. Water eliminates toxins and wastes from our body and as a result, improves complexion.

Exercise Regularly

Exercise is also important to keep our skin vigorous as exercise makes blood flowing faster in our body and provides oxygen for health of our skin. Exercise regularly and see its results in the form of glowing skin.

Take Sufficient Sleep

I know that busy people hardly find time to get a restful and sufficient sleep but it is very important to keep your skin healthy. It makes your skin look fresh and young so try to have a sleep for at least eight hours a day.

This was a complete list of all those tips which you can easily follow if you want to have a healthy and shiny skin. These tips are not difficult to follow. All you need to do is to remain regular and consistent.

Bad breath is something that becomes a cause of embarrassment and makes us feel awkward in front of someone. There are a number of causes of bad breath like dead cells and the smelly food we eat. Bad breath may also be a result of specific medication or a symptom of a condition. In fact, there are a lot of bacteria in our mouth and we cannot get rid of them. All we can do is not to give them stuff to eat because they already have a plenty of dead skin to eat. We can do this by following some simple tips and instructions. If you are also suffering from stinky breath then read this post carefully as it will be of great benefit for you:

  • Make a habit to floss and brush your teeth after every meal. Scrape your tongue daily with a tongue scraper. Everyone doesn’t require brushing teeth after every meal but people suffering from bad breaths are required to do so regularly. You should also take care while choosing your toothpaste. If you are suffering from this problem, use toothpaste that contains fluoride and also change your toothbrush after every three months.
  • Dry mouth can also accumulate dead skin cells which are then consumed by bacteria. To avoid this, drink a plenty of water daily because water washes food particles in your mouth.
  • You will also require keeping a track of what you eat and drink. Smelly foods like garlic, onion and liver are a cause of bad smell. Similarly some drinks like coffee, beer and wine are also known to leave a bad smell in mouth so consider about changing your diet.
  • Cigarettes and other tobacco products also cause bad and stinky smell because they make the mouth dry and leave a smelling residue in your mouth so stop smoking as it also causes several other diseases.
  • For detailed cleaning of your teeth, visit a dentist at least twice a year. A dentist will check your teeth and gums and will also tell you whether the cause of bad smell is medical or not. If bad breath is not caused by a dental reason, your dentist may refer you to another doctor for further checkup.
  • Tonsils can be a cause of bad smell but you cannot brush them. What will you do then? All you can do is to wash them. Gargle of 30 seconds, on daily basis, will fight against bacteria and will prevent bad smell. After using mouthwash, don’t forget to clean your mouth with water.
  • You can also use a sugarless chewing gum to avoid bad breath. Gum helps to produce saliva in mouth and helps prevent dry mouth which is a cause of bad breath. A moist mouth can remove food particles and bacteria that cause bad breath.
  • Use parsley as this green herb contains chlorophyll which is a natural breath freshener. Chewing parsley is quite beneficial to get rid of bad breath.

You can get rid of stinky breath by following the above mentioned tips. These will not only help you in preventing bad breath but also increase your confidence and you will never feel embarrassed while meeting someone.
